Thank you Belle! I appreciate that you took the time to tell us about these websites. And I am glad you got value from the class today. I will pass your message along to the presenters.

Hi! This was a great meetup. Thank you so much to our two presenters - the handouts are very useful. I also wanted to share some of the websites I mentioned:

crunchbase.com: if you're looking at startup/tech firms, much of the time they'll be listed on crunchbase and you can do research about the company there, including who their current executive team is and where on the funding spectrum they are and if they're profitable.

humanworkplace.com: this is that website I mentioned that is run by Liz Ryan, an HR consultant. She has a lot of good advice on how to approach the language/wording in your resumes and LinkedIn.com profiles, and writing a "pain letter" instead of a traditional cover letter. She also has podcasts online; I just listened to two of them last night!

    Take care,
    Belle

Performing Arts Garage is a good one: http://www.yelp.com/biz/performing-arts-garage-san-francisco
    or UC Hastings Parking: http://www.yelp.com/biz/uc-hastings-parking-garage-san-francisco
Good luck! Glad you can make it!

Hi There - my plans unexpectedly changed this morning, so I will be a bit late. Hope that's alright!
