Last-Minute Seats to Agile Data Science with Spark Training on Sunday 5/15

Folks -- we have a few last-minute seats opening for the End-to-end Data Pipelines and Agile Data Science with Spark training on Sunday, conducted by Andy Petrella:

Andy is the creator of the Spark Notebook:

It is the best interactive notebook for Spark, a de facto GUI for Spark.  It supports Spark streaming, and also you can examine cluster logs in it, so you have a single, intuitive entry point in the whole Spark ecosystem.

You will learn how to add Spark to your existing data pipelines, and how to become a data analyst using it, all in one day.  You can spend months trying to put together all these insights, and Andy, as a Scala, Play, and Spark pioneer, will have you hit the ground running.  This training is specifically in Scala, and you will really learn how to leverage Scala for data, where it shines with native Map/Reduce API.  Basically, in the words of Martin Odersky, Spark is a Scala DSL, and we'll show you exactly what it means.

Andy will also explain and demonstrate how the whole SMACK Stack comes together, including Kafka and Cassandra.

Andy is a Program Committee member at Strata/Hadoop World, and consults on Spark and Spark Notebook globally with his company, Data Fellas.  Andy presents at major conferences, including Scala By the Bay/Big Data Scala, Scala Days, Strata, H2O World, and others.  His talk last week at ScalaDays was about using Deep Learning with Spark.

Last year we were able to train dozens of data engineers and data scientists to high acclaim, and this training is a major advance with an inuitive, interactive environment for all steps.  As core members, we're happy to offer you a 25% discount: AGILESPARK25.  (Please register and then redeem your training pass for Spark training specifically.)
