Our Own Scala Day: Office Hours, IBM Watson, Macros at Twitter -- Today!

From: Alexy K.
Sent on: Wednesday, June 7, 2017 10:52 AM

We have the first Scala Office Hours at Galvanize today, 1-4pm.  Four awesome software engineers will be on hand to meet all the newbies, or seasoned developers, and talk Scala.

You can also help Sergei build the first-ever Join Calculus implementation in any language:

https://github.com/Chymyst/chymyst-core

-- fully documented in tut, 100% code coverage, using macros.  Basically if you could grok that codebase, you can do anything in programming, anywhere.

And at 4pm, you can walk over to IBM Watson and join the BBQ party for The Future of Cognitive!

After that, we're moving the Festival to Twitter, for Scala Macros breakthrough from Eugene Burmako.

See you at the festival tonight!
A+
