Oh, the Supermoonlight's fair TONIGHT along the Guadalupe

My apologies for mangling my Indiana State Song. I'm too pooped to drive to Sacto, so am riding the newly paved trail to Alviso and back, 18 miles roundtrip, beer at BJ's afterwards. The moon is appearing 14% larger at perigee, was spectacular last night riding my neighborhood, and should be even better on the levy.

Sorry for the postage photo, I need some coaching on transferring from the phone. The sky was gorgeous and the moon bright, but it is not the American River Trail, just a lot closer. Alviso Park had a ranger at the open gate preventing arrivals, as I would have liked to sit and look over the marshes as the moon rose higher. I'll try to find out if we could get in later, but trikes would not fit under the gate. Not as dark as I expected because of parking lot lights from the tech firms along the levee. Would be more fun to do as a group. After I passed, it seemed like fireworks were coming from the 49ers stadium, but I did not backtrack. Pretty consistent headwind going out, which pushed me home.
