Please join us for a special theatre event, enjoying one of the fantasy genre's greatest classics! We'll be attending the National Players' production of Macbeth, directed by Casey Kaleba. The National Players are America's longest running touring company, and has performed in 40 states and around the world. The performance will be held at the Olney Theatre Center on its Historic Stage.
From the National Players:
For an ambitious couple gripped with murderous thoughts, reality proves to be elastic. Witches, floating daggers, moving forests, and blood that refuses to wash away—who can tell what is real and what is imagined? Shakespeare's twisted tale examines the brutal consequences of unchecked ambition.
You are more than welcome to invite guests to join us for this event. In order to secure our group reservation for this event, we do require payment in advance (you can use your Paypal account when you RSVP. If you'd prefer to pay in person before August 25 with a credit or debit card or cash, you can do so at a meetup and I will manually RSVP for you you to the event). We will not be able to offer refunds, but if you find yourself unable to attend you may transfer your ticket to someone else up until midnight September 5 (2 days prior).
- We've secured an incredible deal for this show! Tickets will cost $20.91 until space is no longer available.
Please be sure to note that you must arrive on time in order to receive your ticket, and please be sure to comply with theatre etiquette. The actual showtime will be 8:00 PM, but please arrive no later than 7:00pm to allow us to distribute tickets and get settled before the show. The theatre does offer a concessions booth. Directions and parking information are available here. We've also been invited to a post-show reception with the cast, which will include light refreshments.
*This is an open event, and guests and friends are welcome, but if you drop out without transferring your ticket(s) to another or if you no-show, you will not receive a refund for your ticket. The only case in which tickets will be refunded is if the performance is canceled by the theatre. Additionally, since we are making a contractual commitment to the Olney Theatre Center, if you no-show (including arriving too late to pick up your ticket), you will be prohibited from attending any in-home meetups or special events for 3 months.. Please make sure to keep your RSVP updated and accurate, and if you need to drop out of the event, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance of the event (6:30pm on Thursday September 5) in order to avoid being counted as a no-show. Thank you for your cooperation.
