Presented by SGInnovate/ Partnered with A*STAR and Centre for Quantum Technologies

Quantum computing is often considered as one of the most disruptive technologies in the 20th century, with the promise to completely transform a wide range of industries from logistic optimisations to drug development. In order to eventually realise robust quantum computer, we need to build scalable quantum processors and a host of new classical technologies such as control electronics or microwave components. This opens up a wealth of exciting business opportunities for both tech powerhouses and startups alike. In light of this, we hope to kickstart the dialogue on some crucial questions such as

What are some of the key pain points, in both the classical and quantum ingredients, of building the necessary hardware for a robust quantum computer? How can existing tech firms participate in the emerging quantum economy?

What are the challenges of building a quantum hardware enterprise?
In this event, we will bring together representatives from Alibaba Quantum Laboratory, Quantum Machines, and Keysight, respectively. They will share with us their experience and insights on how to harness the hardware opportunities presented by the emergence of quantum computing. Furthermore, we will hear from some of the main local stakeholders of quantum technologies to explore Singapore’s vision and strategies going forward.
