Three Sisters Rock (3000+') are impressive pinnacles visible from Soledad Canyon Road - directly opposite Indian Canyon. The PCT does most of the difficult ascent, leaving us at the ridge to use a system of powerline access roads to access the rocks. I haven't yet turned up any information about climbing these rocks, but the map suggests that the North Sister is probably easiest and highest. We will see.
We will also visit two nameless prominence points accessed by the same PCT segment: Pt 3277' and Pt 3160+'.
Stats for this first hike: 5.5 miles roundtrip, 1800' gain.
We will attempt Parker Mountain (4131') as a separate hike, from the north, using Parker Mtn Fireroad. (est. stats: 4 miles, 1500' gain - can't tell which route's avoid private property yet - so it could be more or less)
Bring: plenty of water/gatorade, sun protection (very little shade on either hike, possibly long-sleeved shirt).
Stats: (total, for both hikes): 9.5 miles, 3300' gain. Expect a mix of terrain - all dry and sunny.
