9 miles round trip, 1,000 ft elevation gain to the falls. More elevation and mileage depends on the group.
Hike Description: We will fasttrack the bridge trail towards the gulch at the 3 mile mark, from there expect to bo off trail the rest of the way.
Allison gulch comes to 3 rather large waterfalls in a slot canyon, the lowest and tallest is the one we will be visiting. Allison Gulch empties out near tne 3 mile marker on the Bridge to nowhere hike. From that point, we will follow the gulch towards the waterfall, cross country all the way. We will check out the falls, and depending on time and the group, we may end up exploring more to see in the area. ( there are a lot of places out there that nobody visits.)
Due to the nature of this hike, I would advise that no beginners sign up. This is a cross-country hike. If you have no experience in river travel or climbing, please do not sign up.
Also, depending on our time, we may do some side trips. Among them, Devil gulch, Horshoe Mine, And Rattlesnake Canyon. This is also an exploratary hike to find the way to the Allison Mine via the gulch.
If YOU sogn up, I will screen you.
