Things will be a little different this time!

**Please bring your laptop!**

Based on some ideas from our sister meetups in Ohio and Chicago, we will be trying out a "Project Night".

- From 6:00 until 6:30 we will be having our usual networking and pizza time,
- but from 6:30 until 8:00, you have the chance to work on any python or tech project in a group of your choosing.
- From 8:00 until 8:30ish, we'll present projects and hand out prizes.

If you would like to pitch a group idea before the meetup, please pitch it in the comments and we'll put it up on the projector before June!

The full agenda is here: https://slcpy.sandcats.io/shared/-_YiSt0aZJf9jvr-tM0Ha_3EepUxUv7_neA5cYMEq2B

Projects so far:

- To start things off, Dylan will be hacking on a micropython #PythonHardware project. Be sure to watch Nina's talk beforehand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35mXD40SvXM

- Faris will also be leading a beginner group in the ways of git and python.

ALSO:

**Something different about donations this time:**
A $5 voluntary donation is requested. Students are excluded from donating.
If you would like to take the Arduino and other hardware home with you, a $15 donation is requested. Again, students are excluded from donating.

**Please bring your laptop!**

Also, if you can spare a surge protector or extra portable table and would like to donate it to the meetup, please email:

NOTE Visitor parking on campus will require a fee.

Either use a pay lot or pay in advance for a permit at

https://commuterservices.utah.edu/campus-parking/visitors.php

If you go to https://commuterservices.utah.edu/ and log in as a visitor, you can buy an evening pass for $3. That will let you park in the parking structure that is just north of the INSCC building (in the A, E, and U sections).

Parking is enforced until 8pm. The map below indicates the visitor lots which are easiest to find a spot in

You may try parking in the nearby neighborhood, you risk a city parking ticket; however, with it being so late it may not be heavily enforced.
FYI there is good public transportation to the University.
