TRAILWERKS - Help Build the Johnson Ranch to Froom Ranch Connector Trail

Meet at Laguna Lake Park for sign-in, breakfast.

Description: This is what we've all been waiting for! We'll be constructing the trail that connects Johnson Ranch to Froom Ranch and Irish Hills.
We will likely be building two new trails which lengthen and connect existing new trails. After doing trailwork we'll come back to the park for barbeque, beer and raffle.

Suggested wear: long pants, longsleeves, sturdy shoes, gloves, and hat.

Bring: water

Tool: Furnished, OJT

Plan: Please add your hours worked to the Trail Work Time Tracker. Thanks!

Worktime Duration: 3 hours

After doing trailwork we'll return to Laguna Lake Park and have a BBQ and lunch, b**r and donation drawing. We hope to finish the Connector Trail begun on November 12, 2011 TRAILWERKS. Come on out and work and then celebrate this milestone for the SLO County trails community.

The Work of the World is completed by those that show up!

Started out being foggy. When the fog cleared is was very nice remaining cool weather. Two meetup people came to meet me. They were very nice men. One was a Crew leader. Wish I had gotten to meet the others. Come back on Wednesday to help complete the trails that were being worked on today. Meet at 8:30 AM at the same parking lot near The Home Depot in SLO.

Hi Val, Thanks for joining us for this fun day of making a new trail. The first big workday for this trail was two years ago. It is an ongoing project and gets better all the time. Thanks, Marv
