Needs a location
The William Harris Homestead has been a wonderful venue for us to photograph for several years. The fully furnished 1840s era log home with several outbuildings surrounded by woods and broad pastures is a great place to visit and shoot. They have several events each year that feature costumed interpreters that present life skills from the past. On March 16 they are featuring Blacksmith Day. Their resident Blacksmith and several of his students will be demonstrating their craft. Other costumed interpreters will be demonstrating various skills and crafts needed to survive in mid 1800s Georgia. See harrishomestead.com for complete details and directions. A donation of $5.00 per person supports the Harris Foundation.
