Should you upgrade to Photoshop Elements 11 or Photoshop CS6? Come to the Tuesday Learnshop and Jim Morgenthaler will show you the new features in both programs and discuss whether the new versions are really worth the money. Other questions you may have about previous versions of the programs will also be answered.
At the same time, KEH, the world's largest buyer and seller of used photographic equipment will be on site to evaluate and purchase any used equipment you'd like to sell. If you'd like to take advantage of this, you'll drop your equipment off at the KEH table as you enter the meeting. While Jim is giving his presentation KEH will evaluate your gear. At the end of the meeting they'll make you an offer. If you accept their offer they will cut you a check on the spot. If you don't like their offer you can retrieve your equipment and take it home with you.
Of course, KEH is in the business to sell what they buy, and they can’t sell something there isn’t a market for any longer. As a result, please don’t bring scanners, slide projectors, generic flashes or tripods, movie cameras, projectors, or darkroom equipment. They do buy Bogen/Manfrotto & Gitzo tripods, collectables (think Leica, not Brownie) etc. See their website, www.keh.com (http://www.keh.com/)
Maybe you'll decide to buy some new software and KEH will provide the funds!
Doors will open at 6:30. If you are bringing equipment please plan to arrive in time to check in your gear so we can start the meeting on time at 7:00.
