SPS April presentation change

Dear Metro Atlanta members,

To say that travel in and around the I-85/I-75/SR 400 corridor is going to be a challenge would be an understatement.  Given that our meeting place of Clairmont Presbyterian Church is located in the heavy traffic zone caused by the I-85 roadway collapse, getting to and from our meetings will be a challenge.

Our planned speaker David Akoubian asked that we look to moving his presentation to future month.  We were able to accommodate David and have a new speaker for this Friday.  The announcement from Greg Comstock will be forthcoming.

I'm not going to sugar-coat it.  Travel to and from our meeting location will be problematic.  Some of you may choose not to attend our meetings due to the travel congestion.  I completely understand.  I hope that once the dust settles, people will find their new travel routes, and we can better judge how long it's going to get to the church.

I'm anticipating that we will have a number of people that will be showing up for the meeting and for those of you who will be entering competition prints, I've asked Mikki to move her location to the back of the room so that we will have minimal disruption.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.  The show must go on.
