Next Weeks 4th Tuesday Learnshop - How to critically evaluate your own Images.

From: SPS President - Greg C.
Sent on: Tuesday, October 16, 2018 11:58 AM

Hello All.....

I just wanted to remind everyone that next week we are having at our 4th Tuesday Learnshop that has become an annual SPS tradition, join Harriet Dye, Jack Martin, and Jeff Milsteen for a (mildly) entertaining and (mostly) enlightening evening of photo critiques. In addition to offering advice on how to critically evaluate your own images, Jack, Harriet and Jeff will also critique digital images submitted by attendees.

Digital images submitted by members will be presented for critique anonymously — the point is to focus on the photograph, not the photographer. The GOAL here is to gain another perspective and hear unbiased points-of-view as to how to improve your photos.  This is a great learning experience.

Please submit up to two digital images (by this Saturday) that you would like critiqued to [address removed], following the normal sizing guidelines for submitting images for SPS competitions. Instructions can be found here:

Even if you don’t want to submit a photo, please join us and you're sure to pick up some pointers about how to critically evaluate your own work and thereby improve your photography.

All my best,  Greg
