Why are you interested in Climate Change?

I have always been aware of the environment and alarmed about what we are doing to the place we all live. I view climate change as a moral issue: humanity has a moral obligation to respect their surroundings and consider the consequences of their actions. I feel like scientists have been screaming in unison at the top of their lungs that we are hurtling ourselves over a dangerous cliff. I have heard and understood those yells and so I must stand up with them and join the chorus of echoes until we find the breaks. I have seen the damage we have already caused, and I want to do everything I can to avoid any more.

What do you hope to gain from participating in this group?

community, support, knowledge, friendship
