Improvisation comedy theatre "Lost in translation" - In English

  • Dec 7, 2012 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We have reserved 30 tickets together for this event in December.

The shows in October and November are already sold out.

This is a great chance to see Improvisation at its best.

The cost is 120kr per ticket. Sign up and you will be contacted on how you pay to secure your place with the group.

If you want to come with someone else, ask them to join the group if they are not already a member.

Josh Lenn, American actor and ‘love refugee’, moved to Sweden 4 years ago. Like most foreigners, he was presented with many challenges, as well as amazing experiences. He became fascinated with the idea of being an
expat in Sweden: ‘It is a very unique experience because Sweden is such a small country with strong social norms‘.

So what would any LA actor worth his salt do? Put on a show!
Not just any show, but an improv comedy show, since it provides a fantastic vehicle to both laugh at cultural differences, as well as understand them. The show runs on three Friday nights this Autumn and it will be a mix of short form and long form improv, driven by audience suggestion. Josh will be working with some of Sweden’s best improvisers, who are brave enough to put their “Swedishness” under the microscope.

All in ENGLISH!

Another workshop for those of you who enjoyed the show, come and work with Josh directly, last week was a blast. No previous improv experience necessary. http://www.meetup.com/EventsGroupSTOCKHOLM/events/114411542/

Two tickets have become available. I have been writing to those on the waiting list two by two without any success. The easiest way is for anyone on the waiting list who can go, to contact me. I will then pick the two people based on their queue status. But. If you say you can go, you are committing to turning up or else you pay up. Otherwise someone is out of pocket. The theatre are also after extra tickets as they have a waiting list too. Reply to this message please

I will be at the theatre at 18.30 with your entry tickets.

Inside the theatre it is free seating (ie no numbers on the seats) so arrive early so that we can all sit and laugh together.

The show starts promptly at 19.00 so I will be going inside at 18.55, if you are late then your tickets will be left with the ticket office, I won't wait for you.

The 30 of you that have paid up for your tickets, if your situation has changed and you can't make it, then please write in here, and people on the waiting list will be given the option of taking your place, based on the date they added themselves to the event, those at the top of the waiting list get first priority.

If you are on the waiting list, and have now changed your plans for Friday, please change your RSVP to not going, so that we don't try to contact you in the event a place becomes available.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

I am keeping the waiting list open, those joining the waiting list will be contacted in the event that anyone who has already bought a ticket can't go once we get round to December. No guarantees but you will be given first option based on when you join the waiting list.

I now have paid for 30 tickets. Thank you to everybody for their co-operation in getting the money transferred across by Friday's deadline. So that the tickets remain safe, I did not pick them up yet, so they remain with the theatre for a pick-up at a later date closer to the event.

The theatre is now sold out. We have 30 tickets reserved that I must pay for on Friday. Make sure you put your name on the message when you make the transfer and email me to say you have done it. The deadline to secure your place is Friday. Once you have paid, you will be moved from the waiting list to 'attending'. The director (and star of the show) just called me to confirm we are on plan for Friday. I will then have the tickets in my hand.

Please look out for an email from me regarding payment for this event. I have closed RSVP's for now. All will be moved into a status of waiting list, and as I receive payment you will be moved from waiting list to Attending.
