The speakers will present an in-depth look at RASP (Run-time Application Self-Protection). Learn about new emerging technologies and best practice for application and data protection in datacenter and cloud environments. A live demo is also planned.

Applications in Cloud and Data Center Environments have become the target of choice for Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and other emerging risks. Behind the perimeter firewall and layered security, the rapidly growing base of applications and their data are easy marks for cyber crime, making applications the weakest link in data security.

Current security solutions such as Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and other application vulnerability detection tools only protect web applications - leaving back-end applications and data dangerously vulnerable to APT attacks. Adding to this, application vulnerability detection tools work passively and fail to fully protect run-time applications. This leaves corporations, government organizations and healthcare institutions in constant jeopardy.
