Re: Sunday Hackternoon in SF at NextSpace on Nov 13?

Andrew,

Typically what I do is join tech-heavy Meetups.

Then if a Meetup has a presentation on an interesting technology, I
e-mail its members.

I suggest they can then wrestle with the technology and learn more
about it on a Sunday Hackternoon with another person who has as
similar interest.

Currently I am waiting for the BAM meetup organizer to approve the
e-mail I sent to the BAM Meetup.

The e-mail asks the BAMers to come to Sunday Hackternoon and learn
more about JQueryMobile.

I've already invited the Ruby community to learn more about
Backbone.js using code in Ryan Dy's github repo.

So that is my pattern for attracting members to each Sunday Hackternoon.

It's a bit of work; feel free to find an interesting tech-heavy Meetup
and invite its members to Sunday Hackternoon.

It's good if each Hackternooner makes an effort to publicize Sunday
Hackternoon to other software developers.

This increases the pool of people to pair with on Sunday Hackternoon.

thanks,

-- Dan
