6.30pm for a 7pm start.
An interactive UX workshop led by Kathryn Hegarty (UX Designer at True Digital) and Adam Beizsley-Pycroft (UX Director at Natural Interaction)
Responsive design has disrupted established user interface patterns in recent years. Whilst some new conventions such as the "hamburger" menu have emerged, these often involve making trade offs around how much a user can access from a certain page and lack the flexibility to deal with sites with complex information architecture such as retailers.
Working in groups, we'll explore different approaches through paper prototyping then test them by swapping a few nominated people around (as guinea pigs). Each group will then share their findings and perhaps we'll be one step closer to solving the problem.
