Chris Schipper: Demystifying Open Source Magic with C#

Veteran developer and architect of the Sacramento area brings the magic of open source and Microsoft together for another fun filled night of coding demonstrations. This includes but is not limited to Angular, Bootstrap, SignalR and more! He will be giving away many of his recent magic secrets and unveiling the mystery behind some of these technologies.

We will be creating a simplified but functional chat and monitoring web application using amazing technologies available to us through open source. Christopher frequently likes to focus on the code rather than slides, so bring your notebooks! There will be a LOT of content to consume in a short amount of time. Questions will be welcome and encouraged.

If you want to see what is on the horizon of possibilities past asp.net and within our grasp as .Net developers, this is one meeting you will want to attend.

Admission: Free

Speaker: Christopher Schipper

Christopher Schipper is a Senior .Net Software Developer and Architect, with over 15 years of direct hands-on experience leading development projects, teams and directly coding complex/real-time software. Well versed in applying cutting-edge technologies, methodologies and industry standard best practices in building and supporting secure, multi-continent, multi-client software infrastructures and e-commerce platforms. Now providing outreach and mentoring for all levels of software developers.
