  • Celebration of Life for Dr. Robert Blackstone, Founder of SacIONS

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Dr. Robert Blackstone, Founder and Co-President of SacIONS . He peacefully returned to the side of his late wife Carolyn in his sleep after a very active week with IONS Hubquarters and spending time with his family and closest friends. Our beloved "Bassic Bob" (named for his signature booming singing and speaking voice) had been facing multiple health challenges off and on for the last few years but remained stalwart about his service to the vision of Edgar Mitchell and the mission of IONS to save our Mother Earth through a global shift in consciousness. He leaves behind two sisters, two children, Eric and Karen, and six grandchildren - as well as his beloved "SacIONS family" that will all miss him terribly. Bob's Celebration of Life services will be held on Monday, June 18th at 6:00 PM at Unity of Sacramento. You are all invited to attend, please RSVP on MeetUp and join us in celebrating the life of Dr. Bob!
