Media will be there so please be there on time!

To look like a TEAM: (Optional!) Please buy the MFA I pad shirt on their website:We animal lovers will please buy this shirt to wear for this event: Go to Mercy for Animals.

Perhaps a more heavily-trafficked location could have been chosen, more publicity effort expended, and notification to the Capitol been given. The entry staff keep a list of events planned around the property, so maybe legislators and staffers would have known about it. The truck could have been driven around the mall so that more people would have seen the giant posters. The Mercy people could have walked around handing out info instead of standing with us. I didn't feel that it was time well spent, unfortunately.
It was good to see a notification in the Bee yesterday, but maybe too little too late.

Hi everyone! Word has it Phil Letten and crew will arrive this afternoon ready to meet us all tomorrow at the State Capitol at 11:00 am and later in the evening at Old Sacramento (8:30 pm near the Railroad Museum). Pray for sunshine and excellent weather!! If it's raining, bring an umbrella. And, please chat it up amongst your friends and encourage them to come so we'll a great turnout of animal activists. This is our chance and Mercy For Animals deserves our very best welcome. Thank you!

Let's hope legislators either venture out of the Capitol to go to lunch early or at least look out their windows. I hope someone has contacted the media. Looking forward to Monday!
