Outside Qi Gong is an ancient gentle movement practice that focuses on the revitalization, resilience, and wellness building resources within us called Chi. It has a stillness, mindful quality that recharges us. Held in quiet settings in nature. ALL LEVELS: First-timers please watch this before attending: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyINAjEoTIs) We will call upon nature to pull her grounding, nurturing, and healing energy with gentle movements. This is a stillness, silent practice that brings a mindful presence forward. BENEFITS: A calming of the nervous system for better sleep, focus, and joy. An opportunity to balance your organ's energy flow, stimulating your inner circuits, blood flow, bone-building, and healing nature. REQUIREMENTS: -Be in general good mechanical health meaning you can move most of your body parts with little or no discomfort as you are guided into gentle movements. -Be willing to try something new with an open mind. -Be willing to be still within as you move your arms and legs in ways that cultivate the power of your inner nature. -Be willing to continue if it feels right for you. A one-time occasional event may not have lasting benefits. -Be willing to try a few of the movements you learn on your own in-between events for maximum benefit. ATTIRE & BRING: -Wear loose soft clothing in layers for temperature changes. -Flexible shoes or take your shoes off completely. - Bring a container of water (a must). - Small snack or lunch for after (optional). - Sun protection (hats will not work for this).
