Sac Poly Monthly Discussion

  • Come one, come all to our monthly discussion at the Reason Center -- first Sunday of the month, 2pm - 5pm.

Each month Sean starts us off with a topic.  Where the discussion goes is up to the group.

The meeting is three hours. First is a large group discussion, then small group discussions, and the last hour is social time.

To find the Reason Center: Click on the map above and read along, kids.... As you pull in to the court, stay to the left and drive to the end of the third building. Look for the Reason Center. There is a back entrance and additional parking behind the building.

We ask for donations ($5) to help pay for rent and refreshments. First-timers need not give, please come check out the group for free. If you are unable to donate, please come join the discussion anyway! No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

We love polywogs, but this discussion is not for kids. We have a space for small children to play, with supervision. (Child care is not provided, so please make arrangements for someone in your group to watch or trade off watching the little ones.) There is a separate small space where older kids can hang out and play with their tech or otherwise amuse themselves.

More good news - the Reason Center is accessible on wheels. There are no steps or problematic thresholds. One caveat - the bathrooms do not have grab bars or enough space to turn a chair around. Sorry. (We're working on that, but it's going to be awhile.) Anyone in need of any sort of accommodation, please contact any member of the Sac Poly Organizing Committee (SPOC) and we'll do our best to make something work

Sac Poly also has activities and social events at random intervals.  Members are encouraged to host events as well.  Look for us on Facebook:

    See you at the discussion!
