Yes. I have done a few river cleanups near Sac State and similar activities.
Networking with people who show interest and concern in environmental and social issues that affect us all.
I would say sustainable gardening.
I do some gardening (lots of flowers, succulents, veggies) while practicing water conservation (mulch, trickle-down watering, swales). I am eager to learn more permaculture practices so I can use them in my garden.
