Why are you interested in SVS?

As a Rastafarian we believe strongly in health and vitality so any person/organization that is down for this cause and the general well being for mother earth/mankind we support.

What can SVS do for you?

SVS can stay alive and keep promoting health and harmony. It is peace and longevity that we seek.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Kimba Negasi Kabaka. I was born April 21, 1971 in St.Croix Virgin Islands. From the time of a youth, I was fascinated with how food was prepared and put together. While others saw it as just food, I guess i looked at it from an artistic stand point. Perhaps I should take time to thank my father for forcing me to be in the kitchen when he cooked and taught me the importance of doing for self. Coming from the Caribbean it was easy for me to fall under the belief structure of Rastafari. I have been a vegan for 22 years strong and have studied nutrition at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD as well as Business Management at Morgan State University. I have been cooking as a chef professionally now for 12 years but prior to that it's been a part of my entire lifestyle studying herbs and a holistic lifestyle.

Are you vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, or transitioning?

I am Vegan.....As a Rastafarian, we say I'tal which stands for vital......."I'tal is Vital"

Greetings My name is Chef Kimba from Roots-N-Kulchah.
