I am often in Sacramento. I have known many SVS members over the last 20+ years.
Provide social & educational & support opportunities.
I am an ocean voyager, decorated veteran, IRS & NSA survivor, information scientist, parent, grandparent, and articulate and (hopefully) very annoying critic of our misguided government. I am an international traveler who increasingly finds the USA a very strange society. Areas of special study include large scale relational database design, money and monetary systems, human health and diet, individual liberty and voluntary societies, alternative energy systems, African Cichlids, System ergonomics, Ocean sailing especially aboard modern versions of traditional polynesian sailing craft (Catamarans, Trimarans, etc.). By August 2013 I will have 4 Grandchildren. I spend a lot of time creatively imagining solutions to world problems so that they may live in a more embracing, truthful, peaceful world with greater individual empowerment and liberty. I am currently the chief information scientist for Touro University on Mare Island.
I was a vegan for many years. Due to some dental issues and ongoing research regarding this, I have added occasional raw dairy (see westonprice.org).
In 1985 after much consideration, I became a vegetarian. I have benefited greatly from this change. I am delighted to see with each passing year increasing legitimacy (within the context of our bizarre society) to living as a vegetarian.
