Finding a Deeper Love
Hello Everyone, Hope this finds you thriving in these interesting times. Sorry that we haven't had a meeting in a while but we have been very busy. However, we do have some good news. I will now be joined by Cindy Mayne as a co-leader for the group. Cindy is a very experienced healer and hypnotherapist and I am very glad to have her as part of the team. I also know that most of you live in the East Bay, so we now have found a meeting place in Berkeley to make it more convenient. In this meetup we will work on cultivating a deeper and more enduring sense of love. Above all else, love makes us happy. It brings joy to our hearts and meaning to our lives. It connects us to each other and the world that surrounds us. It satisfies our souls. In this healing circle, we will work to uncover the love that is always there, waiting for us. A love that can teach us to care for ourselves. A love that lifts us up so that we can love our enemies as well as our friends. An unconditional love that can help us realize that we are embraced by this living universe. In this session, we will focus on cultivating love for others as well as for ourselves. To experience a love that flows equally in both directions. A balanced love that does not grasp for another, but stands equal, and flows soul to soul. The foundation for this type of love comes from loving ourselves first; perhaps the most challenging love of all. To work on healing the internal wounds that keep us from ourselves, we will use the gentle loving-kindness meditations from the Buddhist tradition. We hope you can join us. What we're about

These healing circles have been inspired by the most basic ceremonial rituals humans have been sharing for thousands of years, the talking circles. When it comes to grief, shame and internal challenges, we have such little space in our culture to come together, connect heart-to-heart, commune in togetherness and experience the healing magic of community ritual.

We gather in circle weekly to explore certain topics in the spirit of soul healing, personal healing and transformation and to deepen into the wholeness of who we really are. Circles offer a profound container for connection and healing that is generally not widely available in our culture.
