Pagan Potluck

Hello fellow Pagans!

We are hosting a Pagan Potluck on Saturday, May 3rd to celebrate Beltane.  We are hosting this event so that we can introduce ourselves, discuss the Sacred Bridges CUUPs group and come up with good ritual ideas and workshops that Pagans in our area would enjoy.   Everyone is welcome, from newbie to the fully experienced and seasoned Pagan practitioner.  Children are welcome with their parents/guardians.  Bring a covered dish to share, or a salad, and we will provide beverages.

Loved getting to meet people and the sense of community I got; I was welcomed by everybody regardless of my quiet nature

So sorry to back out at the last moment. Having problems with my back and it's pretty bad. I would like some more information, though, if it is available. I am really interested about what you guys are doing and I am looking for a group of like minded people. Once again, so sorry.

Everyone you ask will probably have there own favorite author. lol I really liked Scott Cunningham and still read his works to this day. His books helped me out a lot when I was just beginning. The ones I would recommend starting with are"Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" and "Living Wicca: A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner". I also really like Raven Grimassi, but he can be a little more advanced. I know that Barnes & Nobles usually carries the Scott Cunningham books or they are available on Amazon. My roommate also suggested "The Circle Within: Creating a Wiccan Spiritual Tradition" by Dianne Sylvan. She said that it really keep her attention. I have read it as well and it is a good read. I hope this helps. If I can make a suggestion, it is that you can never read enough. After so many years, I still read several books a year about the Craft. Blessed Be.

Anything by Christopher Penczak. He has an excellent "Temple of Witchcraft" series.
