This is a group for female surfers, paddleboarders, and/or bodyboarders to surf together, exercise together, and, hopefully, make some lifelong friends! I started this group to meet other like-minded women and because paddling out with a buddy is always safer than paddling out alone.
I'll post events here (surf/weather dependent) but we'll likely meet on weekends around 8:30/9:30 a.m. on the beach at A Street. Bring your board(s) and, if there's surf, we'll paddle out together. If not, we'll do an hour-long bootcamp style workout that will be geared toward increasing mobility, strength, and endurance to prevent injury and improve your surfing/paddling skills.
** Note: The group is open to all ages and fitness levels, but workouts will be intense. I will, however, always provide modifications for all skill levels. Also, please note that I am NOT a certified personal trainer or surf instructor - just a fitness and surf enthusiast! **
