What we're about

Since we are all on this widowhood journey that none of us want to be on – let’s try to help each other along. This group is for anyone age 60 or under whose spouse has died. Our goal is to plan outings that help us to combat the loneliness that many widows and widowers feel by planning social outings and events with people who understand. Let’s be a group where friendships flourish, hugs are in abundance, support flows freely, tears are never shunned and where we can share smiles and laughs too. The goal of the group is social, but since sometimes you just need to talk or vent or cry – in this group we will be there for you. We won’t try to set you up, fix you, tell you how you should or shouldn’t feel -- or put a time limit on your grief. We are all there or have been there. We will just walk along beside each other and try to meet each other where we are on any given day. Activities may include music, festivals, dinner, wineries, holiday celebrations – it is open anything suggested by the group. A photo of yourself is required when joining. Thanks!
