In this class, several profound practices on their own – Yin Yoga, Restorative postures, Gentle somatic movements and Yoga Nidra - complement each other so that students learn to listen deeply to the unheard voice of their bodies, and to enter more fully into the present moment. Yoga Nidra is a thorough guided relaxation-meditation based in ancient Yogic teachings, that has recently received a lot of research attention and is thus backed by an extensive body of positive study outcomes as to the effectiveness of Yoga Nidra to alleviate many stress-related diseases as well as addictions, as the placement of a positive affirmation during a time when the subconscious is very receptive helps re-negotiate stuck mental patterns.
