This week's talk and discussion will be: The Perfection of Patience
A talk and meditation on how being patient in the face of adversity can be empowering. Developing patience in everyday life situations helps us to create peace of mind and progress on the path.
Our Tuesday evening classes provide an introduction to meditation and ‘Buddhist Basics’. Initially we practise tranquillity meditation, followed by a short talk about a particular aspect of the foundations of Buddhism. The sessions end with a short contemplation, and time for questions, discussion and refreshments. Everybody is welcome and you don’t need any previous experience. There’s no need to book – just come along.
