WHAT TO EXPECT
:: The first 5-10 minutes of class start with a short lesson based on a general theme followed by instructions on posture & breath, setting you up for optimal comfort.
:: Before being guided in meditation, we will sit in silent meditation for 10-20 minutes. This is a chance for you to adjust your posture, work on your breath practice and observe your thoughts & emotions unhindered.
:: Class time will primarily be spent in guided meditation. This is where you get to relax, let go and connect deeply with the peace, clarity and joy already inside you.
:: The final 5-minutes of class are for silent reflection. Use this time to keep meditating, stretch, journal, or whatever feels best for you during that time.
:: Quotes and poems are read throughout class to support and inspire your practice.

ABOUT THE SPACE
This class takes place at Bellywood Dance Studio in downtown Salem, Oregon.
There is free, on-street parking in downtown Salem for up to 3 hours on Saturdays. There are also several nearby parkades you can use.
Please give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the studio with at least 10 minutes to spare.
