Join wine-and-beer-friendly adventurers near you to learn more about the wondrous world of grapes and hops in our own backyard. Everyone is welcome, from new bouquet-sniffers to educated connoisseurs. Let’s meet at local restaurants, brew pubs, and wine bars to plan field trips and fun!
Yearly dues are 5$ or 1$ per meetup. there is a new person grace period if you love our group join!
-Group Attendance Policy-
This group has no minimum requirement for attendance. You are not required to attend any meetups, however complete inactivity (extended period of not logging-in) may result in removal from the group. You may rejoin at any time if you wish.
In regards to signing up for meetups, you may sign up for as many events as you would like. There is no restriction for attending meetups. Also there is no minimum time requirement to change your attendance intent. If you do not show for an event that you are signed up for, we have begun utilizing the no-show feature included in the website. No-shows will not affect your ability to attend beer and wine meetups. However, if no-shows begin to accumulate other groups may look at those unfavorably, as no-show are global for the entire meetup website. If the number of no-shows becomes exorbitant, we may begin to doubt your attendance when you do sign up. If the meetup is a Reservation location this becomes an issue as restaurants make their living on the seats filled. If we book 20 seats and 10 show we lose credibility and it is just bad form.
You may change your RSVP via the website, phone, text or email.
Our intent is not to punish you for not being able to attend, but to encourage you to change your intent in a timely manner so that organizers know who and how many people to expect. Beer and Wine venues will bring on additional staff, prepare additional supplies and open at special times for our group when we have sufficient attendance. Those things are motivated by the people we have signed up.
Thank you for understanding and abiding by our new attendance policy and welcome the to the Salem Beer and Wine Adventures Meetup.
