  • Ouija Board class

    Needs a location

What are YOU doing on Friday the 13th? Consider a Crone's Hollow class and seance!

Based on a popular intro offered at Crone's Hollow, this session will include a special hands on ritual where you will work with your board to make spirit contact.

Ahhhh, the Strange and Mysterious Ouija Board - Is it a tool of the Devil, a harmless family game or a fascinating glimpse into the non-conscious mind? Participants in this class will be given a basic introduction to the talking board, or witch board, including safety instructions on its use, cleansing and disposal. Following the instruction portion of the class, we will conduct a séance using the board as a divination tool. The cost for this class, and the séance, is $20 per person, you can receive a $5 discount for paying cash.

Class attendees will be allowed a 10% discount for use in the Crone’s Hollow store for their own Witch Board or other divination tool (Discount must be used the night of the class).

Please allow a full two hours for this special class event.

Your teachers for this class are TaMara and Durriken. TaMara is a Hedgewitch, Seer and initiate of the Ced tradition of witchcraft. Durriken is a wicked-good tarot reader, published author, Seer, and initiate of the Mound tradition of witchcraft. Between them, over 40 years of Craft experience will be brought to the table.

Bring a friend and bring your Ouija board if you have one. Since we will be using boards in the seance, one of three options is open for you:

    1. Bring your own board

    2. Purchase a board at Crone's Hollow before the event. We have a variety of different styles of Witch Boards including a deluxe glass top board with a pentagram, paper topped boards with cats, pentagrams, celtic knots or other designs and some hand crafted boards done by Goatwirx, a local artist. All are beautiful! This is the time to use the 10% discount.

    3. If you don't have a board, and don't want to get one, bring a mirror or piece of glass 8 X 10 inches or larger and a clear shot glass. We'll show you a parlor trick!

Come talk to the Dead with us!

An Intro to British Traditional Witchcraft
with Griffin Ced Friday Oct 28th at 7:30 p.m. $25
All those interested in a non Wiccan based view of ‘The Olde Arte’, to join us for a presentation on Witchcraft, Magic, Mystery & hopefully some laughter!
Are you curious for a dip into some mischief? Come and ask what questions you will and we can get into some interesting & deep Witchcraft dialogue!

This Presentation is an overview introduction into the concepts, lore and practices of modern day Traditional Craft. Though elements of history and forms of Trad Craft may be touched on, this class will focus more specifically on a form of craft we call Heretical Witchcraft, which is naturally accessible to many seekers. Drawn directly from the Well of Witchdom, this style of Witchcraft awakens a rich and diverse legacy that can be grasped and worked with naturally either as a solitary practitioner or with a group of kindred souls.

Though this class may offer some fresh insight into Wiccan practices, this presentation deals with a very different approach than that of The Wicca. Hopefully folks of all levels from beginner to the seasoned Witch will find some fresh insight through this presentation, together with gobs of irreverence & mayhem to be sure!
As those who have taken classes with me before know, each time I teach, we always seem to launch into new directions. So old timers are always welcome! An open mind to exploration into an alternative approach to the Craft and a sense of humour is all that is required! We take our work seriously but not ourselves. Griffin is an old time British raised Witch, living in Los Angeles but with decades of presence in Salt Lake City as the Witch Father of the Ced Tradition and Magister of EarthHaven Coven.
You can purchase the class at Crone’s Hollow

    ***
Earth Haven is an adult Coven that works the sabbats as Mysteries and Craft workings. The point of the coven doing a public ritual is so they can share some of the work they do in their tradition and coven with the local community.

For Earth Haven, Samhain is a working for the dead. Those who have lost someone may need such workings will benefit from it. Solitaries who have lost a family member and have nowhere else to deal with that loss at the time of the Wild Hunt are welcome to take advantage of this ritual which will help your loved ones move on to their final destination.

WARNING There may be heavy spirit activity in this rite. This is a ritual for adults, not a children's Halloween event.

If you have lost a loved one in the past year, or if you have a departed loved one very dear to you that you choose to honor this night, please bring a picture or an item belonging to that person. You will have the opportunity to place it on the Ancestral Altar and light a candle for your loved one. These items must be reclaimed at the end of the evening.

Please bring a dish to share for feasting after the rite. It will be very important to ground with food after this.
Please note that we will limit the number of attendees at this event. It is strongly suggested that you stop by the store and add your name to the reservation list. Prepayment for the event is required. This event will sell out so don't delay.

If you have questions or require further information please contact Crone's Hollow at[masked].
