Come and learn about the sake tradition and how to enjoy Japanese drinks :)
Sake is a Japanese rice wine made by fermenting rice that has been polished to remove the bran. Sake is produced by a brewing process more like that of beer, where the starch is converted into sugars before being converted to alcohol.
During the session we will learn about the sake history, the ways to make sake, the differences between Sake and Choya (fruit Liqueur), how to drink Sake and which Israeli food matches to Sake?
About the Speaker:
Shiya Azulai, came from Tokyo-Japan and lives in Israel for 7 years. Shiya will share her personal knowledge about drinking wine, sake and chochu.
