What we’re about
We are writers from all experience levels who get together on the first and third Tuesday of every month. We meet online with Zoom. The link to the meeting is emailed to members the day before and posted on our Facebook page. We help one another write and self-publish. Writers of all forms of fiction and non-fiction are welcome. Want to know copyright rules, referencing, writing styles, reprinting rules, and more? How about how to plan and organize your work? And, of course, there is the question of how to stay on track and focused. Got writer's block and don't know how to shake it? This is the meet-up for you!
There are no dues or fees for membership. We sponsor, support, and participate in community development events associated with writing and publishing. Expenses incurred by the group may be paid from donations or admission charges. The group, however, will not accumulate money. Authors and writers may sell their work at book fairs, workshops, and similar events where the group sponsors and participates. The group may announce and support the entrepreneurial events of its members but will not sponsor these events. They are the sole responsibility of the authors and writers conducting the event.
