Working with Specular Highlights Using a Modern GI/Ray-tracer
Since I get asked about this so often, I am going to revisit this issue for the August meeting. There are three primary and quite different ways to render what appear as specular highlights in a modern renderer, and it can be confusing and lead to all kinds of rendering problems. We will address these issues using 3DS Max and V-Ray RT/GPU.
