I haven't done that myself, but I did notice that Drew Conway gave an excellent talk about that topic at both the NY and Bay Area R groups.  The video and slides are online:


There have also been a few tweets on twitter over the last few days on the topic of analyzing facebook data with R.  You can search on "rstats facebook" to find them.

Pretty interesting stuff.  Could potentially be a future meeting topic.
