    Toastmaster of the Evening All of this activity will be moderated by one of our members who is designated the Toastmaster of the evening and will pick a meeting theme. Prepared Speakers We will have up to three prepared speakers this week. Speakers will range from some of our newest members to very experienced members who will all be working on a variety of projects to hone different speaking skills. They are sure to entertain, inspire or enlighten you. Each speaker will be evaluated by a peer during our evaluation session. Table Topics, Etc. One of our members will conduct a round of Table Topics to help us all practice our impromptu speaking skills. Remember to use the Word of the Day! Helpers Other members will be helping by making sure speakers stay on time, use proper grammar, and minimize use of unnecessary words or sounds like "ah", "umm", "uh", etc... Guests Guests are very welcome! All those interested are encouraged to attend as guests up to 3 times prior to deciding to join or not. You may participate in the Table Topics session if you want, but absolutely no pressure! Any of our members would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Please be sure to introduce yourself to our VP of Membership, Marissa, or VP of Education, Alex, and they will be glad to help you as well.     Toastmaster's Club 1394: Hardhats This Toastmasters club is one of the finest places you can learn to speak in public with confidence and connection. We love to laugh and learn at each meeting. Experienced speakers provide helpful quality feedback, we video your speeches to help you accelerate your development, and have a projector you can use to practice your PowerPoint presentations. Members Our members cover every experience level - from beginners to very seasoned. All of us strive to make each meeting a fun learning experience with the goal of mutually developing our public speaking and leadership skills. About 25 members attend each meeting, which provides a nice sized audience for skill building, yet ample opportunity to participate in the many roles available at each meeting. Meetings We warmly welcome guests - yes, it is early on Friday mornings and you probably had no idea you could have so much fun so early!
