November Book Group: The History of U.S. Feminism

  • Nov 26, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Author: Rory C. Dicker

Join us for our monthly book group discussion.  We meet at 6:30, chat, start introductions at 6:45 and begin talking about the discussion questions.

***PLEASE bring book suggestions for February. The topic for February is strong historical female figures/ historical fiction.***

We finish the discussion around 8:10, collect donations for Meetup fees and then we pick the book to read two months in advance.

re: meeting location, we'll send an email a few days before to all who've RSVP'd yes that exact address. We don't post it when we do meet there because it's a private residence. If we have more than a dozen people RSVP'ing, we usually rent out the room at Progressive Health Services in University Heights.

Also, join our Facebook page!

Hello! I've just joined the group and I'm wondering if your Meetups are ever on a Fri, Sat or Sun? I teach night classes and won't be able to make most meetings on weekdays. However, I'll be able to make this one due to the school holiday. I'm looking forward to it!

Hi Nat and welcome. Unfortunately, we are a Tuesday group, always have been. We have occasional/ random non book club meetings, like a movie night, but very rarely.

Hi all! I'm excited for my first meeting with you guys. This will be the first feminist group I've been to :)
