GenX is defined as those people born in the mid 1960s to the early 1980s, so if you were:
a) born during this time frame,
b) are female, and
c) love to meet people while doing fun things,
then this group is for you!
Since there has been some confusion by prospective members as to what constitutes "mid 1960s" and "early 1980s", we are going to draw a hard and fast line to make things easier for everyone and simply state that members' birth years should be anywhere between 1964 and 1983 (inclusive).
We promise to try to always have a few events scheduled at any given time covering a wide variety of activities, some mellow, some active. Dining out, going out for drinks, meeting up over coffee, listening to live music, karaoking, rollerblading, going for walks... stuff like that! We are always open to ideas and are always looking for people to host fun events as wel.
Looking forward to meeting you.

NO-SHOW / LATE CANCELLATION POLICY:
We realize that life happens and sometimes you can't make it to something you've RSVP'd "yes" to. If this happens, please let us know right away by updating your RSVP and commenting directly in the event discussion in order to point out the change in headcount. WE CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF LETTING US KNOW IN ADVANCE. Sometimes space must be reserved, e.g., at a restaurant, and it'd be good to let the venue know so that they're not holding space for someone who doesn't plan to be there. Plus, if we know soon enough, your spot can be opened up for another member to attend.
Sometimes things happen--a friend or kid unexpectedly comes to town to visit, you get sick (thanks for not sharing your germs), or you got rear-ended =(. We get it. Life happens. But if you definitely could have reasonably informed us with sufficient prior notice, yet you don't, and you completely no-show, you will be removed from the group after 3 infractions. This applies to cancelling at the last minute as well or even in the last hour. This might seem tough, but it's to avoid event hosts spending time driving to events only to find that the last few "yes"es decided to cancel at the end. Yes, it's happened before, unfortunately. Dining solo is not fun when it's not planned.
Thank you for adhering to this policy and being courteous and respectful to the hosts and other members.
