February 15th 7-10pm
Texas Hold Em is always fun for social interaction and new friends.

First Non-profit:
The LGBTQ+ Center of Riverside is getting a little financial help from local San Diego Poker fans. Friends and friends and friends are organizing for a Texas Hold Em Tournament with a fundraising twist. Poker fans can come play Texas Hold Em, tournament style, while raising money for Riverside’s new LGBTQ+ Center, a valuable and needed new addition to the county.

LGBTQ’s mission is to provide SAFE SPACES and Resources for the Local LGBTQ Youth & Community. Their message:
As residential communities in the Inland Empire continue to grow, so does the area’s LGBTQ population. However, a few of us noticed that despite this growth, LGBTQ resources and spaces in our area were pretty much nonexistent ~ until now. In efforts to combat this disparity and address some of the growing local community’s most urgent and immediate needs, a small group of us have decided to create the area’s first LGBTQ Center. With limited safe spaces for LGBTQ youth in particular, who we feel are among the most vulnerable in our community, we are starting our focus there.
That’s why the Texas Hold ‘em tournament is so important.
Join us on January 18th from 7-10PM and Sunday, February 3rd from 3-6PM. $20 donation. Check in hour before. Gift cards for the winners!

About the founder:
Ditchi Manley, along with some close and equally passionate friends, have come together to create a safe space for the LGBTQ+ ally friends. Ditchi and her wife, Claire Manley met in 2009, became domestic partners in 2010, and married in 2015. Within this time, they have fostered 13 children and have successfully adopted and provided a forever home for 6 loving children, ages 5,6,7,7,9,13. Ditchi works 24/7 driving the 6 kids to 2 schools, 6 different after school sports, and extensive therapeutical mtgs. Ditchi has a full support system from her wife, Claire, who is a speech therapist for severe autistic children. Let's support these amazing moms.
