SDMMF invites the Maker Community and everyone interested in making to a "Micro" Maker Faire sponsored by the North University Branch of the San Diego Public Library and FabLabSD on Saturdays, April 19, April 26, and May 3rd from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Makers: The SD Public Library and FabLabSD are hosting this 'Micro' Maker Faire and would love to see your inventions and creations there! They expect to have kids and adults who want to interact with STEM activities and to learn more about our local innovative community. Please bring your maker activities, and engage our local community in a series of fun workshops and a show-and-tell event. Contact [masked] if you are interested in participating.
The events will feature hands-on activities at no charge courtesy of the San Diego Public Library.
• April 19 - Open House, Egg Decoration and Maker Activities
• April 26 - Open House and Maker Activities
• May 3 - Open House, Mothers Day Gift Making and Maker Activities
The Mobile Fab Lab, equipped with a laser cutter, electronics, and other digital fabrication equipment will be parked at the library with tables available for workshops for kids and adults. Learn about 3D printing, robots, electronics, laser cutters, and other amazing tools that you can use! Interact with the local Maker Community, and share ideas with inventors, tinkerers and designers.
