Beginner/Casual Ride

The Coffee Corner

Hey Riders, Come join us for a nice and easy Sunday ride from Santee to Julian. We will push off from coffee corner in Santee at 8:30 sharp and take only the backroads. We will head up wildcat canyon road through Ramona and up to Julian for breakfast/lunch. Depending on how many people show will depend on if we all try to grab grub together or hit up a few places. Afterwards you can either make your way back down the hill on your own or continue with us as we trek down the backside of the mountain and wind our way through pine valley and end up at the Alpine Brewery. You can hang out there or make your own way home after a quick pit stop. WE WILL NOT be hitting the slabs (highways); WE WILL NOT be traveling much faster than any posted speed limits; WE WILL NOT be pushing hard into the corners. WE WILL have experienced riders spread out through the group who will know the route. This is a ride geared for the beginners who are either breaking in a new bike or breaking in their first bike and for those who just want a nice and easy casual ride through some amazing country. All makes and models are welcome!

Ride to Live Training Class

Location visible to members

Join me at the next Ride to Live class up in Hawthorne, CA! This FREE one-day training course is done by motorcycle police officers from the cities of Hawthorne, Torrance, and others. I took this class in September 2018 and it was AWESOME. May 4 is the next available class that isn’t full. Register at http://ridetolive.com. Please note that the time of the event is ONLY the time of the class and doesn’t include travel time to and from San Diego. As the event date draws closer, I’ll post meeting times to leave in the AM. I rode up and back in one day but if you want to get a hotel room or AirBNB I’m totally down as it’s a long day. Hope you’ll join me! You can read about the class requirements on the Ride to Live website.
