Startup Founder 101 brings together aspiring and experienced tech entrepreneurs to discuss, meet, and collaborate to build great new startups, and to push the local startup ecosystem forward.

This group hosts numerous free events throughout the year where you can learn the best practices of starting a company from people who have been there and done that. You’ll have the opportunity to meet local founders and investors, exchange ideas with experts, get feedback on your idea, participate in startup workshops, and more.

Global Founder Showcase: See Pitches from new FI Alumni (Online Event)

The Founder Institute (FI) is the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator, with 4,500 Alumni across 75+ countries. On this online event you can watch presentations from select entrepreneurs that just completed the most recent Silicon Valley, Toronto, London, and Singapore programs. She is also cofounder of I/O Spaces, an inclusive coworking space in the Washington DC metro area. She is Board Chair of Afrilabs, a Pan-African network of over 200 innovation centers supporting over 1 million entrepreneurs in Africa. She chairs ActivSpaces (African Center for Technology Innovation and Ventures) supporting entrepreneurs from three tech hubs in Cameroon. She also sits on the board of Venture Capital for Africa (VC4Africa), of Digital Africa, the African Media Initiative, Eneza Education, Suguba and the UNECA Center for Digital Excellence. She is cofounder of Cameroon Angels Network and cofounder and Vice-President of African Business Angels Network. Ms. Enonchong currently serves as a mentor/advisor to several technology startups. A recipient of numerous awards, Ms. Enonchong was named a Global Leader for Tomorrow (GLT) by the World Economic Forum of Davos, Switzerland. Forbes Africa listed her as one of Africa's 50 most powerful women in 2020. NewAfrican magazine named her one of the most influential Africans in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
