Fate, Free Will, and Prediction

Understanding the relationship between fate and free will is crucial to astrologers, as we do predictive work. While we may assume that fate and free will are set conditions in which we live, this talk will offer a different perspective: that free will is developmental, and we grow into it as our consciousness evolves. Practical applications for astrologers will be highlighted during this talk.

Armand M. Diaz, Ph.D., an astrologer and consciousness researcher, is the author of the critically-acclaimed book Integral Astrology: Understanding the Ancient Discipline in the Contemporary World. He has published in numerous magazines and journals, including The Mountain Astrologer and ReVision. An NCGR-IV Consulting Astrologer, he has a private practice based in New York with an international clientele. Armand won a scholarship from the Esalen Institute for his work on psychic-mediums. He is adjunct assistant professor at Hofstra University and Brooklyn College. His website is

    I've always enjoyed Armand Diaz's YouTube videos and he is as entertaining and informative in person as he is in video. But in person he is also more funny. I found myself alternating between nodding my head in agreement and laughing out loud.
