Join us for a 7.8 mile Mount Tam loop that delivers the best of Mt. Tam’s world-famous scenery. We will hike through grasslands affording us vast coastal views, into a dense redwood forest and along a (possibly) cascading stream. Elevation change is 1500 feet. Though considered a moderate hike, portions of the trail are steep.
Meet at the Pantoll Ranger Station at 10:15 am for a 10:30 departure. There is a day use fee if you park at Pantoll. Parking is free off the side of the road.
Bring a lunch and plenty of water and good gripping shoes. Please be prepared for sun and fog.
Other notes: No dogs. Rain Cancels Rating: 2B
