Required Skills
Must have skills  :Grails, the coding, unit testing and debugging of Web applications,
Nice to have skills :  Groovy, Java (strongly preferred), Development of Controllers, Services, GSP and domain model. GORM
 
This development project involves the programming of a Web application platform using the GRAILS framework. Candidate will be responsible for the coding, unit testing and debugging of Web applications.
Required Experience At least 1 full lifecycle development projects using Grails ,Groovy and Java or 1 full lifecycle development project using Grails ,Groovy and previous experience using Spring and Hibernate. 5 years experience developing web applications using Java/JEE, SQL, Javascript and Web Services. Development of Controllers, Services, GSP and domain model. GORM modeling and custom database mapping using ORM DSL.
Experience in development using secure coding practices. Db2 or any other RDBMS platform.

Preferred Experience JQuery , Spring STS IDE

• 3-5 must have skills & Nice to have skills in order of importance?

The typical work day look like for this contractor: Roles and responsibilities? Working on a specific application for the Risk group, they would be working on enhancing functionality of the application which many of the modules have already been developed. They will be working with existing code, the platform that the application is hosted on was created and designed to be able to be leveraged for additional applications.
